TKTelecom Strengthen their Ethernet Symmetric Data Transmission Service by Using Bonded Pair (2BASE-TL)

TKTelecom who has TK MPLS backbone network to connect Customer's Local Area Networks (LANs) into a fully managed Wide Area Network (WAN). And as an operator who has good copper plants - the copper wire is thicker than the normal telecom operator's for 0.9mm - they always want to make full use of their copper infrastructure.

To extend VPN service from the TK MPLS network to customer premises over their copper wire, they decided to use NexComm N500 series, Ethernet over copper solution as this Ethernet access solution gives them following benefits.
¡Ø Then can provide resilient connection as the EFM bonding is implemented in the N500 series. Their "Selektory" service is really keen to this resilient as this service includes voice service together with data.
¡Ø They can make full use of their copper plants as the EFM bonding is more efficient than the previous bonding technology. So they can get the sum of different rates from each bonded copper pair's

They deployed NexComm N500 Series to build WAN VPN services to transmit data as well as voice and other multimedia services. The two main service made for customer is called 'Cargo' (data services) and 'Selektory' (data and voice service). In both cases links are made of a copper wires laid along the railways. Most of the wire loops are thick 0.9mm pairs of up to 10 km in length. Some links are made of 8 stages connected in serial making up to 80km span WAN network.
